One of the founders of Wild Giant Safaris, comes from a background working in travel industry. Born and raised in Moshi-Tanzania, the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing Mount in Africa. At his tender age Yahaya started his career as a Mount Kilimanjaro guide; with over five years of experience working in travel companies, his passion moved beyond and ultimately the company’s idea was inspired. His work experience, passionate, diligent and commitment brings outstanding communication and organization to the company.

JÜRGEN OEHL
Safaris Expert

Jürgen has been a tour guide in South Africa since the ‘80s and lives his passion for country, wildlife and nature to the fullest. Besides his knowledge about South Africa, he also has a variety of stories from his many adventures which make a night around the campfire just perfect. Spiced up with a lot of expertise and a pinch of humour, Jürgen offers both information and fun – an unbeatable combination when it comes to traveling with a private guide.

Fedor is a trek expert with Wild Giant Safaris, has many years of coordinate Kilimanjaro Expedition and brings a broad range of experience gained from within. Cheeriest when barefoot in Mount Kilimanjaro, Subtelny is passionate about nature and makes the days on the mountain more fun, but safer as well. With a small group, he can effectively monitor the progress each individual climber and the collective group, he has superb mountain knowledge and is also a good person to talk to if you are interested on Kilimanjaro Expedition.
