    Day 1: Welcome to Zimbabwe

    You will be met at the airport and transferredin a light aircraft to Mana Pools. This flight will take approximately 1 hour.

    Day 1 - 4: Magical Mana Pools

    On arrival Chikwenya staff will meet you and transfer you to camp, the airstrip is only 200m from the lodge.

    Situated on the eastern boundary of Mana Pools National Park, Chikwenya is a photographer’s paradise as it looks out over an open floodplain and the broad Zambezi River, with a backdrop provided by the mountains of the Rift Valley escarpment.

    The camp is surrounded by a dense forest of Albida and Natal Mahogany trees, which provide deep shade in the heat of the day. The Albidas shed their protein-rich pods during the dry season, providing vital sustenance for many species, particularly elephant.

    Chikwenya is a seven-tented camp (including two family units). All stand on low wooden decks and pine walkways link them to the raised main area.  The lounge, dining and bar area are places of hospitality and relaxation, and a pool and deck offer alternate spaces to enjoy the scenery and passing wildlife.

    Day 4 - 7: Relaxing Kariba

    On day 4, after breakfast, you will be flown on a light aircraft to Bumi Hills airstrip this flight takes 45 minutes, Bumi Hills Safari Lodge staff will be waiting for you and will transfer you to Camp by road.

    From its position on a range of remote hills, Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is afforded breath taking panoramic views over the great inland sea of Lake Kariba. Ten stylishly appointed lakeview rooms are nested in the mountains overlooking the endless blue waters of the lake and the game-rich shoreline below. Surrounding the iconic infinity pool is a main area that has been designed with both serenity and style in mind. The uninterrupted view from the bar and dining deck gazes out over paradise beyond and the brilliant pink-to-red-to-golden sunsets that Lake Kariba is famous for.

    Bumi Hills offers guests a multitude of ways for guests to explore Lake Kariba and its surrounds. Spend your days cruising the lake in a private boat, taking in the gorgeous vista’s and incredible shows of light and try your hand a catching a tiger fish. Go on a scenic lakeside walking safari or a walking adventure deeper into the bush to search for fossilized dinosaur footprints or go on a game drive in search of the Matusadona lions.

    Day 7 - 10: Spectacular Safari in Hwange

    On day 7, you will be transferred back to Bumi Hills airstrip to meet you light aircraft flight to Linkwasha airstrip in Hwange National Park, this flight will take 1 hour and 30 minutes.   On arrival Little Makalolo staff will be waiting for you and will transfer you to camp.

    Little Makalolo lies in the heart of Hwange National Park, in one of its best game viewing areas, overlooking a vibrant waterhole. It offers privacy for guests who enjoy small camps and a sense of remoteness.

    The camp’s six traditional-style tents are spacious and en-suite, with indoor and outdoor showers. Solar power is used to heat water, ensuring a lighter environmental footprint.Linking the tents to the main area are teak walkways.

    The pool is a fantastic addition especially for those hot summer days. There is a log-pile hide overlooking the waterhole in front of camp which is home to literally a Noah’s Ark parade of animals as they come down to quench their thirst.

    Little Makalolo is on their own private concession which allows for exciting game drives and walking safaris without the crowds. There are usually impressive herds of buffalo and elephant around the waterholes. There is also the option of spending a night star gazing from the romantic and secluded Star Bed.

    Day 10 – 12: Victoria Falls

    You will be flown from Hwange to Victoria Falls and transferred by road to the Victoria Falls Island Lodge jetty where you will be met by staff who will transfer you by boat to the Lodge.

    Day 13: Farewell to Zimbabwe
